Now you didn’t just have to be in New York to be able to hear this song on every major radio station across the country. ‘Empire State of Mind’ off of Jay-Z’s album The Blueprint 3, was a ode to artist from the New York area and an ode to New York in general.     I like the list. I don’t agree though with “Soul Survivor” being on it. I found it interesting that you included “Hey Ya” as a rap song.

    No Kanye West? Really? He deserves to be in the top 25 a couple of times and not just Honorable Mention.
