Top 25 Rap Songs of the 2000’s

 4. Public Service Announcement– Jay-Z

It’s crazy to think that a song that wasn’t a single and technically was an interlude on the album, The Black Album, would be so high on the list. But as we’ve seen so many times in hip-hop, lyricism tops all. ‘Public Service Announcement’ (PSA) is one of Jay-Z fans most popular songs. It’s a song that no matter what Jay-Z concert you go to, it has to be played. The Just Blaze beat samples Little Boy Blues ‘Seed of Love.’

Dope Lyrics: “I’m like Che Guevara with bling on, I’m complex, I never claimed to have wings on

I like the list. I don’t agree though with “Soul Survivor” being on it. I found it interesting that you included “Hey Ya” as a rap song.

No Kanye West? Really? He deserves to be in the top 25 a couple of times and not just Honorable Mention.
